Workaround to chain not fitting inside the necklace's hole
We have detected that in the first batch of the new opal necklaces that were shipped, the incorrect chain was included, and that chain has a ring that doesn't fit through the pendant's hole.
Note: In this Blog post you have more info on how to fix this general issue.. Is pendant hole too small for your chain?
Fortunately this can easily be solved, without even needing to use any tools at all, it can be done with your own hands in less than one minute:
Step 1
Hold the chain in such way that the ring is closest to you, and that you see the groove where the joint of the ring is:
Step 2
Using your other hand, twist or bend that ring so that you open it slightly:
Step 3
Remove the ring from the chain using the opening you just made:
Step 4
Now, you can pass the small chain through the hole:
Step 5
Put back the large ring in place at the final link of the chain:
Step 6
Now, twist or bend the large ring in the direction opposite to which you had done in Step 2, to close it again:
And voilà! Now the problem is solved, and you can already use the clasp to close the necklacce and use it normally:
